A Wonder

Every now and then, I manage to really let my sleep patterns get out of whack, and I'll end up wide awake and starved in the middle of the night. And that's precisely what I've been doing lately. Grr!

Recently, I found myself sitting in front of the TV with a bowl of soup at 1:30 in the morning watching an interview with Citizen Cope on Carson Daily.

Three things:

#1: Carson Daily still has a show?! ...wwwwwwwhy?

#2: His interviews are horrible. It's all about wacky camera angles, bad conversation edits and zero actual content. Then again, it's my own fault that I was awake at that hour.

#3: Has anyone who would be watching Carson Daily ever heard of Citizen Cope?

It's a shame Citizen Cope isn't more well known. He's one of those artists who put out some really good albums, but you just know the guy has the potential to be a superstar.

A Wonder is from his new album One Lovely Day, but his real masterpiece came out back in 2004. It's called Clarence Greenwood Recordings, and it is really worth seeking out.
