"I'm afraid of the C word" she said, causing my jaw to drop because we'd been having an innocent conversation. "I'm not that creative." As I searched for a way to ask how a woman could BE creative in such a way, she continued her thought. "I honestly fear that word, Creative, because it puts pressure on a person to be brilliant." OH. Thaaaaaaaaaat C word!
I have to admit, my creativity seems unlimitedly limited as of late. My photography has been really taking off lately, but my writing has crashed. It's as if my brain cannot accomplish both. The tradeoff works, at least for now, but it doesn't lead to fascinating updates on my beloved Jalpuna. Hopefully a monday playlist will do. I think this is a good one. It's a bit all over the place, but maybe that's a good thing.
I can't say enough good things about The Lonely Forest. If you enjoy the song I've posted, you should consider buying their EP on iTunes or Amazon. It's excellent! They have a full CD on the way this year and I'm very much looking forward to it.
