It's Not The Tracks, It's Where They're Leading

Last Saturday, I spent the afternoon wandering around Portland's rail yards. I love trains, so, naturally, I expected to return with a ton of great photos of trains. Right? That seems like an obvious expectation, but it didn't happen. Instead, I ended up taking... well... I took a ton of shots that remind me of the kind of photos I usually take. I don't say that as if it's a bad thing. It just is what it is, and since I enjoy it... no complaints at all. In fact, I had a marvelous time.

Click on any shot for a larger version. I'll start with a few of my favorites. This first one looks like Jay Leno. See the chin? The tiny mouth? The goofy hair?

I particularly enjoy this shot of a closed window.

Here's the entire batch of photos. Again, click any thumbnail for a larger version.

And, finally, a peek inside one of the cars:

All in all, a great day out with the camera.

Ooh - I love all the innuendos in photo titles.

Wait, maybe you didn't mean the titles that way?

Nah, of course you did!

P.S. You be pleased to know that I actually looked this one up: the plural of innuendo is in fact "innuendoes" (a deers, a female deers), sometimes "innuendos," and rarely, "innuendis."
