Chewing On The Meat Of Life

I've been listening to a lot of Clem Snide lately. They're one of the many bands I've tried to get into, but for what ever reason, just couldn't. Their stuff was a little too twangy, or maybe a little to sparse, or...

Or what? I don't know.

I sampled their new CD "The Meat Of Life" on Lala.com and I was instantly hooked. When I started digging through their earlier work, I realized I'd missed some great stuff. And that's what inspired this playlist...

If you haven't checked out lala.com, you really should. It's a great way to listen to entire albums online. Normally, I hate spam emails, but lala sends a list of new CDs they're streaming online each week... and that's how I stumbled onto the new Clem Snide.
