Hey, What's Your Number Chicago?

You'll get the title to this post the moment you click 'play' on this week's playlist. There's no theme. It's just a bunch of songs that fit together, in some sense... even if they don't. If that Damnwells track does anything for you, click here to download their new CD for free. The band is literally giving it away, and it's definitely worth checking out.

    What's Your Number Chicago?
    03/02/09 - 03/08/09

  1. Bastard Of Midnight | The Damnwells
  2. Your Misfortune | Mike Doughty
  3. Late Night Conversation | Josh Rouse
  4. Spit It Out | Brendan Benson
  5. Maybe | Stereophonics
  6. Believing Is Art | Spoon
  7. Letter from Bilbao | Lowest Of The Low
  8. Fireworks | The Tragically Hip
  9. Burndt Jamb | Weezer
  10. Northern Downpour | Panic! At The Disco
  11. You're Too Much | The Judybats

Only a band from Canada can write a song that starts at a hockey game. I'm glad there's a new Tragically Hip album coming this year. We should get that one in April.

Lowest Of The Low is another great Canadian band. Letter From Bilbao is from their CD "Shakespeare, My Butt", which is, without a doubt, one of the best Canadian albums ever - by anyone. Seriously, it's that good.

"One of these days," Rob says to himself, "I really should post a Canadian playlist."

...noted.
