Because There Still Aren't Enough Songs With Kazoo Solos
As another year of It's A Kazoo Christmas draws near, I have kazoo on the brain. Or something like that. And since I post a new playlist each Monday, it would only make sense to post a kazoo playlist, right?
Wrong.
My iTunes library has over 16,000 songs, but not one of them features the kazoo. Several of them feature the harmonica, however, so that will have to do. Come to think of it, I posted a harmonica playlist last year too - for the very same reason.
Another Harmonica Playlist
11/24/08 - 11/30/08
Complicated Situation | Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
Trip Through Your Wires | U2
Happy Birthday To Me | Cracker
Can't Shape Up | The Wonder Stuff
Human Thing | The Be Good Tanyas
Driving | Po' Girl
She's The New York City Skyline | The Damnwells
Rest Tonite | Kids These Days
You Are Free | Joseph Arthur
Jesus Stole My Baby | The Fratellis
Still Ill | The Smiths
Aaaaaaaaaand, of course, I cannot mention It's A Kazoo Christmas without inviting you to be a part of it. Playing the harmonica requires talent and skill, but anyone can rock a kazoo.
Want to kazoo Christmas carols as part of our kazoo choir? We'd love it if you did... the more, the merrier. Email me and I'll send the official evite your way. Or, you can just leave a comment here on my log - but make sure you include your email address (don't worry - your email address won't be posted with your comment).
It's A Kazoo Christmas! Saturday, December 13th from 2 to 4pm at Bridgeport Village. We're doing our part to keep Portland weird while raising money and awareness for Portland's own Kinship House. Good times for a good cause.
