Hope

I voted today. I'd been planning on waiting until this weekend. A friend was going to come over with her laptop, and we were going to tackle the ballot person by person, issue by issue, measure by measure, with each of us at a computer seeking info online.

But I couldn't wait.

In fact, I already feel I've waited too long. We all have. We've waited eight years - sometimes patiently, sometimes not. But this year is different.

Hope begins in 12 days. Hope begins with you - and with me. I did my part, now you do yours.
