Whistle While You Work?

Here's a peculiar playlist to add to the many I've posted... It's a whistling playlist - meaning that each of these songs features whistling.

The song that inspired this playlist is Peter Bjorn And John's "Young Folks", which is one of the best whistlers of the last ten years, if not longer.

...But, alas... I posted that one in a playlist last year, and since I never repeat a song, I couldn't add it to this week's list. Instead, I posted a pair of songs by whistler extraordinaire Andrew Bird (and nine others).

...enjoy!

    The Whistler's Playlist
    06/23/08 - 06/29/08

  1. The Trees Were Mistaken | Andrew Bird
  2. Out Of My Depth | Everclear
  3. If I Could Talk I'd Tell You | The Lemonheads
  4. Call An Ambulance | Albert Hammond, Jr.
  5. Waitress | Live
  6. Man-Revolutionary! | Rogue Wave
  7. Whistle For The Choir | The Fratellis
  8. Cry on Demand | Gomez
  9. Eleanor | JET
  10. Red-Eyed And Blue | Wilco
  11. A Nervous Tic Motion Of The Head To The Left | Andrew Bird

P.S. I never repeat a song because I've set up the radio player to offer up the current playlist plus a random old one. I thought it'd be lame to have a song show up in both playlists, and since there's no way to control which random playlist you'll get... I never repeat a song. iTunes makes keeping track of stuff like that pretty easy.
