The Circumference Of Apple Pi

Did you know that yesterday was Pi Day? Yep. Pi lovers everywhere celebrate with reckless abandon through numerical precision every March 14th.

Frankly, I don't understand how the circumference of Pi can be 3.14159 if Pi is shaped like that. Those crazy greeks! Where would I even find a pan that shape? I have to assume that's why we shape ours in a circle here in the U.S.
