She Makes The Most Of Her Time By Loving Me Plenty
"She makes the most of her time by loving me plenty. She knows there'll come a day when we won't be getting any."
What a great line from Josh Ritter's "To The Dogs Or Whoever." It's track #2 on this week's playlist - a playlist full of twangy goodness.

A few more lines from To The Dogs Or Whoever, by Josh Ritter:
Oh bring me the love that can sweeten a sword
A boat that can love the rocks or the shore
The love of the iceberg reaching out for a wreck
Can you love me like the crosses love the nape of the neck?
...that's awesome.

I started collecting U2 albums back in the days of War (ahh Vinyl!), and was lucky enough to get a copy of Achtung before it was released (which back in those days really meant something!)
Even though I realize it isn't their best album, I have a special place in my heart for Rattle And Hum. It's all about the time and place, I suppose. A time and place in my life, I mean. It's one of the best road trip albums I've ever heard.
