Things have been quiet here this week. I bought my first new computer in five years, and it's taken much of my free time in setting it up. I could have just used Apple's Migration app to import all of my old files and data, but I thought a new computer deserves a new start, not to mention that the previous computer has bits and pieces of upgrades through five different operating systems: OS 9, plus OS X Puma, Jaguar, Panther and Tiger. Yes, it was definitely time for a fresh start.
I bought a Mini, and I'm blown away by how powerful something smaller than a lunch box can be.
Now, I'm just waiting for Apple to ship my copy of the next version of OSX: Leopard. I got an email today saying it shipped and should arrive on Monday.
And before anyone asks... yes, of course I named my new Mac, and yes, of course the name is brutally obvious.
It's The Minitosh.
