Luck Verses Skill. I'll Take Either
I'm not going to say I'm getting good with my new camera yet - but I can at least say I'm having equal amounts of fun and frustration.
Sometimes, I get lucky:
...The Volvo sign on Burnside, taken from behind, late in the afternoon.
Sometimes I capture exactly what I was going for:
...The fun angles of Well's Fargo Tower (at least, fun to me).
...Magnets atop a metal note board.
...What looks to me like a lonely light at the top of Koin Tower...
And then there are times I completely screw up:
...This is one of those old cage-like elevator doors found in lots of older Portland apartment buildings. The elevator was moving at the time, and I tried to focus on the wall behind the door - and I missed.
