Distractions

My father used to say things like "There'll always be weather, whether or not."

I'm not sure what that means, exactly, but it seemed appropriate... so there it is.

I'm finding it especially hard to concentrate on work when the scene outside my window keeps changing so drastically.

Then again, maybe I've got other distractions too... it is St. Patrick's Day, after all...

Hey, I'm not drinkin' it; I'm just thinkin' it.

I make it a point to not wear green on St. Patrick's Day. It's more fun to wait for someone to ask why I'm not.

I look them in the eye, then look down, then look them in the eye again and say:

"Are you SURE I'm not wearing green?"

NOTE: Only pull that crap if you're with someone cute. Otherwise, just wear the green. KnowwhatImean?

Jesus... I've got all kinds of distractions today...

Luckily, Simon's next ultra-cute maneuver sent him spiraling to the floor, which means I didn't have to boot him.

Laundry's done!

What ever happened to buzzes? My washer plays a silly song when it's done, and opening the lid will not deny the washer it's time to chime.

Whatever.
