Fun With The Fuzz
Getting a new pair of glasses really is fun - especially if the new pair really constitutes a new look. This was definitely the case when I bought new glasses last fall. I decided to snap a pic to post here... though I have no idea why I never did... but anyway.
Since I don't have a tripod, I placed a large box on top of the coffee table in my living room so I'd be able to sit on my couch and have the camera at eye level.
All of my putzing and futzing piqued my fuzzy friend's interest. Thus the following pictures of Tucker and I...
And finally, I thought this last one was a keeper.
...needless to say, we both suck at having our picture taken. Even when we're the ones taking it.

I'd love to say that Tuck's some sort of wondercat, but really, I don't think he was posing. He was probably just intrigued by the soft "bing bing bing bing" sound of the camera's timer. The 'bings' speed up just before the camera takes a picture, and that probably helped to keep his interest long enough to snap each shot.
Still, I thought the pics were funny.
I was trying to snap the pictures at dusk because I liked how the deep blue sky looked.

Tucker does seems slightly more cooperative than Killian was with me when I tried this - but I was holding her. Maybe that was my mistake. Will have to try your method.
Anyway - the second one from the top is my favorite.
