To Tell You A Story

I want to tell you a story.

I want to tell you a story about the lost boy who grew up, feeling found.

I want to tell you a story about the kid who didn't think he was anyone at all, but came to realize he was a little bit of everyone, though uniquely himself.

I want to tell you a story about love lost, friendship gained, hearts mended, and then love found. The story has to end with love.

I want to tell you a story about pain. Oh god the pain. But the pain made the man stronger and it made him happier as well. Yes, happier, because overcoming the pain brought about the discovery of inner strength and beauty.

I want to tell you a story about inner strength and beauty - about the man coming to terms with who he is, and finding peace in understanding.

I want to tell you a story about understanding... about making sense of the chaos that is life.

I want to tell you that story, but god fucking dammit, I don't have an ending because I'm still living it.

I wonder how the next chapter will read?
